30 Day Clean Eating & Shakeology Refresh Group

I have asked myself at least a 100 times these last 2 weeks where has the summer has gone! It seems like just yesterday was my sons last day of 5th grade. Now he is about to be an official 6th grader is less than a week!! I am just not ready for this yet!! But instead of fighting the change, instead of eating my emotions away, I am going to embrace it!
We all know CHANGE for anyone is hard, it's exhausting, mentally and physically, and sometimes down right nauseating. Sometimes it becomes so frustrating and as a busy woman/mom/business owner the first thing to go is usually ourselves.... can i get a AMEN?!! The one thing I have been training myself to do over the past 6 months, is to control my emotional triggers to food and keep myself on track even when the rest of my life feels out of control. Let's be honest, I am a control freak. I need to know exactly what is going on, and when, and how. I am getting much better now...LOL!! In the past, i would run for a bag of cookies anytime I was feeling stressed. Cookies were my friends, or so I thought, and they would make me feel better. I have learned the truth is they were NEVER my friends. They would take advantage of me. Lie to me. And laugh behind my back. Well I will have the last laugh!

Now I look at my fitness and nutrition as the one thing that I can control in a world of unknowns and chaos. I can control the foods I choose to eat, I can control when and what kind of lunch and snacks I will have - by prepping and packing, I can control how much water I drink and I can control the time of day I wake up, go to bed and the choices I make to workout each day. No one can take that away from me. No matter how jam packed my to do list is each week I put my workout into my calendar like a meeting that I cannot miss.

My alarm starts going off about 5/515am. I am not really a morning person at all, but I know if I do not workout in the morning, according to my schedule of appointments - it has very little chance of being done. I know this is important to achieve my health and fitness goals - so I set several alarms. I then keep trying to talk to myself until I get my butt up and out of bed. If you think this is easy - IT IS NOT!

Who wouldn't want to sleep more in your nice big comfy bed? Especially when I am up until 2am in the morning working, or the kids or dogs or going nutty in the middle of the night and I am woken up. But this is a small sacrifice to make, in order to be healthy and fit - and be able to be a better wife, mother, and business woman. It makes me happy, knowing each day I have accomplished a small goal. It makes me happy, every time a piece of clothing that used to fit, or was to tight - all of a sudden is now too big. My attitude throughout the day is better as well! I have more energy, and more ready to tackle my day. Working out in the morning may not right for you. Maybe you are better at night or int he middle of the day! Whatever time it is, I encourage you to figure it out and get it done!

Nutrition is a huge factor in health and fitness success! For me, when I get busy it's hard to stop to cook, or to eat and make good choices. I was notorious for making excuses! I have no time to cook, my family loves fast food, I am a picky eater so I only eat chicken - veggies are gross. Honestly, those were excuses because I didnt know where to start, so I got lazy and didnt want to take the time to figure it out. So now that I have done the hard work for you, allow me to be the one to help you get on the right path, giving you the steps, and tricks I have learned and what has worked for me. 

I have decided that this is the perfect time to offer my Busy Woman's Challenge!

Perhaps you like going to the gym, maybe you are a crossfit or zumba junkie, maybe you go for runs or walks, or maybe you have your own workout routine or maybe you like Beachbody workout programs! No matter what your favorite workout is, you have options! You can either choose a program that I suggest for you, or you can continue with your own. I am offering a 30 day accountability and support group that is going to start with a 3 day refresh or gentle sweep out of the old ways and bad habits, and in with the new and improved!  Then for the next 30 days starting on September 1st we are going to learn how to plan out your meals, prepare snacks, make better daily choices, combat emotional eating, and deal with all the temptations and situations you can come across in life as a busy woman!

The focus in our group is going to be 30 minute meals (or less), crockpot meals, food on the go, and how to stay on track when you have no time.

So what are the requirements?

1. You must be a customer of mine through my Team Beachbody Site.

2. You must commit to 30 days of Shakeology starting with the 3 Day refresh.  

3 day refresh keeps you full and focused. And with any of my groups, you aren't locked into anything at the end of 30 days, you can decide whether you want to make Shakeology a part of your daily routine or just continue with all the new habits you have learned. Thinking back to when I first started with Beachboday and Shakeology, I was very skeptical. Thinking this "shake" surely was going to taste disgusting, and do nothing for me. I did my research, I asked around and decided I had to try it for myself. (Again the control freak in me wont listen to anyone - "Oh i will show them!) However, once I started drinking it for breakfast each day it has kept my cravings for sweets in check, it gives me natural energy to get through my busy day and it gives me convenience when I need to be portable and on the go! And best yet - its tastes DELICIOUS!!! 

Even though, I now know exactly what clean eating is and I am certain I could continue my path without shakeology, I can say, 100% I will never give it up. The convenience of the healthiest meal of my day, being able to be portable, it is 1 less meal I have to think about. It's become second nature to just make my shake and go. 3. You must be willing to participate daily in our closed online support group. Each day you will get a tip, trick, recipe or suggestion from me and at the end of each day you log in and report your day. You say on a scale of 1 to 5 how your food was, how your exercise went, did you drink your shakeology and any questions or comments. This way we keep each other on track and I know how to support you better in your 30 days with me!

When I joined my first accountability group as just a customer of Beachbody, I found this group was crucial to my success. I had a place to go to everyday and ask questions, ask for help, or just watch others - I was able to help motivate others, thus making myself feel good. People who were strangers, and are now my friends, helped motivate me when I was feeling down. Without this, and feeling a sense of responsibility to myself and others - there were many days I would have just curled up in a ball and ate my cookies.
