The absolute BEST Breakfast Bar in the world!!!

Ok so I can not take all the credit for this recipe. My girl Autumn Calabrese (I say my girl because she and I work out together everyday, she gets me <3 )created this, and shared it with us.

Did I put my own spin on it? Of course I did. I wouldn't be me if I didnt!! You can put your own spin on it too if you like :) 

Since starting my journey on the 21 Day Fix - I completely cut our granola bars. Why you ask? Aren't they healthy you ask? Well some are, however no matter if the granola bars in question have fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, or a ridiculous amount of fiber, they're almost always very high in sugar (which is usually high-fructose corn syrup) and low in nutrients. Making a lifestyle change, I was determined to look at everything I was putting into my body. I didnt want to take a chance! 

Then my BFF put this recipe together. I was so excited!! I knew immediately I had to make these.

What you are going to need:

2 cups of rolled oats 
1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut 
1/4 cup of almonds (or any nut you like)
1/4 cup of raisins (i used a combo of raisins & cranberries)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup organic peanut butter (i used sunflower seed butter) 
4 scoops of chocolate shakeology

Throw everything into a bowl, mix it together with your hands. Well if you want to use a spoon, you can - but honestly how much more fun would it be to use your hands?? Its like your a kids again! Hey - you can even get you kids to help with this! They will have fun, you can teach them about measuring - helps with their math skills, and they will be so proud of what they created they will even eat it! After you are done mixing, throw into an 8x8 pan and throw it into the fridge. After a couple of hours, it is nice and chilled and you can cut it into 12 squares.

1 portion is 1 square 

My son loved these, and as I have mentioned before - he is the world's pickest eater! I had to hide them or they would have been eaten all right away!! 

Following the Fix - this is considered 1 yellow, 1/2 red and 1/2 blue!!!
